The National Water Quality Research Association is a Non-Profit Organization whose primary mission is to increase public awareness of the potential health effects from the ingestion of water that contains higher than the allowable limits of any one of approximately  90 contaminants that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set legally enforceable standards for.

Our goal is to educate consumers about water quality issues and concerns while we simultaneously compile results from consumer surveys and FREE residential point-of-use water tests conducted throughout the United States by participating corporate sponsors or affiliates.

We hope to find any association between high levels of any contaminant and/or chemical commonly found in today’s water supplies, both public and private, and a greater occurrence of any particular health problems.

Our belief is that our mission will result in better human health, a greater quality of life and the salvation of lives.

We hope you find our website to be a useful source of information and resources to further your understanding of our nation’s water supplies and how you must make it your responsibility to ensure that the water you and your family drink and bathe in is as safe as it can possibly be.

Big corporations dump their hazardous waste in it.  Farmers contaminate it with fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.  Then, your local government strains it, pumps it full of even more chemicals, then forces it through miles of old pipes to your kitchen sink.

So, what’s really in that stuff coming out of your kitchen faucet?

With class action lawsuits against municipalities started by women who claim high levels of THM’s caused their miscarriages, recent outbreaks of lead contamination from old pipes in places like Washington D.C. and movies like Erin Brockovich, do you really expect your local government to tell you your water is anything but safe?

Well, maybe it is ... maybe it isn’t.

That’s what we hope to find out.
